A light hazed reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light cinnamon, faintly peated. In mouth, a sweet herbaceous caramel malt with woody maple notes, herbaceous, not very smokey, OK. On tap at brewery, Dec. 22 2012.

on tap at brewpub. hazy light copper-reddish with a small off-white head, little retention and lacing. soft peat, faint sugary malts, some toasted and fruity notes along with dry herbal caramel. some spiciness, earthiness. average carbonation, light body - tad too watery although booze helps smoothen the brew. decent herbal-grassy-lightly peaty finish. o-k.
