Draught at Moeder Lambic, Fontainas
Hazy blond color with big head, compact. The aroma is fresh, fruity and flowery, some elderflower; very nice. The body is light; the mouthfeel is almost smooth; there is a decent flavor of fresh wheat, light fruitiness from the hops, very light spicy touch, moderate bitterness. Maybe the serving method at Moeder Lambic reduces too much the carbonation.
Nice and refreshing; it would be better if it were more pungent.

Draught at World Beer Museum. Glowing yellow pastel with lace. Funky, tangy acid nose, wheat, spice. Rather sour and funky with horse blanket and wheat, some spices. I think this had gone off, and don’t image it was supposed to be this way, but it worked.

In short: A strange herbal, weedy, floury blonde wit-ish-bier that is not even refreshing. Meh.
How: Bottle 750ml, consumed when more than one year before expiration date.
The look: Cloudy yellow-blond body topped by a small white head.
In long: Nose is dirty hay, unusual wild herbs sensation (hops?) and light notes of orange peels. Taste is grainy hay, citrusy notes, flour, weed & herbs & grass, awkward hops. Weird finish that is a bit bitter and also floury-dry. Medium body that with an appropriate medium carbonation. Strangely, not much wheaty flavor to be found in this witbier. Not sure what to make of this one, more tasty than the average witbier but kind of here and there and also not even refreshing. But with my new positive attitude I will not complain because I bought a boring beer, I need to be happy we what life is handing to me, I need to treat each day as a gift, an ugly sweater from my aunt Linda with no exchange or refunds.

Bottle - 750ml. Hazy blond body with an average white foamy head. . Fresh hoppy aroma with malty, herbal, and citrusy hints. Taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries herbal and grainy notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Enjoyable.
