Draught at World Beer Museum. Smoky, grain nose, very earthy, spice, caramel. Cloudy peach-amber-gold color with a fine low head. Very earthy flavor, slightly smoky, caramel, minerals, a bit of esters, and strong bitterness. Strange and original, and enjoyable.

75cl, Arlons. 2nd bottle of this in 2 years time and the sheer class still lingers on.... My dream combination of a dry Saison and IPA hops, brewed for drinkabilityy, not impressionability. It knows where to stop in terms of sweetness, fermented saison-acidity, dryness and hoppiness and yet provides an ideal domnimation of alll those elements. Do not know much about this brewery, but for this beer alone it deserves acolades for daring and drinkability.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 18 July 2012) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, spicy nose with apricots, hay and herbal hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, orange and a slightly herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Quite nice and tasty.

Bouteille verte de 750 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Légère odeur d’houblons avec une pointe d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est orangée voilée Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût d’houblons et de céréales. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement (Rating #4283)

Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic, Fontainas, Brussels. Clear golden beer with a big offwhite lacy head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with elderflower notes. Hoppy, grassy, fruity flavour with nice elderflower touch.

Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic, Fontainas. Golden beer with a nice white head. Spicy hoppy perfume aroma, bready notes, fruity notes. Grassy perfume flavor, juniper berries, elderflowers, some bread and fruit. Perfume finish with grass.

Bouteille de 750 ml, lors d’une dégustation. Arômes de houblon légèrement résineux et fruité (agrumes). Présence de levure phénolique. Robe dorée et trouble, effervescence assez active et légère mousse. En bouche, les céréales sont assez corpulentes pour une saison. Belle présence houblonnée, avec un petit caractère américain. La levure contribue principalement des notes phénoliques. Finale assez sèche et moyennement amère. Bien, mais la bouteille était peut-être un peu vieille.

Description: Bière dorée avec une belle tête crémeuse. Le nez est fortement houblonné. Il y a des fleurs blanches. La bouche est ferme, l’amertume agréable et bien présent. Une saison plus houblonnée que normale. Il y a beaucoup d’herbe (gazon et herbes aromatiques) en bouche. Un produit différent des offres de saison qui donne plus dans l’écurie que la houblonnière.

Bottle. Clear gold pour with white foam. Aroma is quite hoppy for a saison, lots of new world varieties, cascade I read on the bottle. Not traditional really but well done. The belgian saison yeast is quite discreet in the aroma, but is pleasantly present on the tongue. Taste of light spicyness, bitter hop finale. Palate is really the only distinct weak point here, a little flat for the style, a tad sticky as well. Good stuff.
