Pour copper orange with white head. Aroma heavy grain, bread, adjunct, honey, fruitiness, sweet. Taste fruity, sweet, adjunct, grain. MF thin to medium body highly over carbed. Meh better then some I guess. Would’ve never guessed this to be a English pale ale.

On tap at the Heuther Hotel. Pours light brown in colour, not much head. Thin body. Aroma and taste are moderately malty, not much bitterness here. Not bad at all.

On tap at the brewpub, amber-copper color, with a beige head, light toasty, caramel, biscuity malt, buttery nose with some fruity hints of honeyed caramelized stewed apples and faint nuttiness in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with toasted, biscuity malt, fruity character of stewed apples, and with a faint flowery hop leafy accent, leading towards a malty, fruity, lingering hop bitterness finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden-orange with a small lasting creamy white head. Aroma’s quite mild, malty along with some grain, Flavour: Not bad, it’s malty with a good amount of hops and some fruit. Decent light bitter finish. Average bodied. A pleasant Ale and a nice surprise.

Draught. At the brewpub. Clear light amber with an average white draught head. Herbal/grainy aroma, light alcohol - clean. The taste is pleasingly bitter, decent roast caramel malt and more than enough dry herbal bitterness to balance it. Slick, lively mouthfeel - decent carbonation and a reasonably long bitter finish - not overpowering, or memorable, but of all the beers I tried (8) during my visit, this is the only one I would bother to have a pint of.

On tap at Barley Works. Pours a clearish orange/brown with medium-sized white head. Light caramel malt nose. Taste is mostly caramel malt with a hint of fruitiness and a slight bitterness in the finish. Slightly watery in the mouth. Ok, nothing more.

At the brewpub, during a great brunch with Jerc and Mabel and my family. Amber, lots of bubbles, good sized white head. Mild malt aroma, sweet. Taste - more of the same - malty, sweet, well carbonated. Some faint hops. Nothing above average here but a clean well made brew I would have again.

On tap at the brewpub on my 20th birthday. Taps a nice amberish red with a large white head. Aroma: Same sort of cereal grains as their lagers, but more faint. Pretty muted actually except for some fruitiness. Flavour is almost the same as their lagers, the sweet wortyness, which is by no means bad, just not unique, but it has a sticky caramel aftertaste. I wouldn’t really classify this as an EPA, more of an amber ale. Decent, and ejoyable enough, but nothing I went crazy over.
