pootzboy (871), Calgary/ Kitchener, Alberta, Canada Aug 31, 2008 Not really a distinct brew but a metered blend done at the taps of 2 ales and a light lager.
This tap head blend had the effect of approximating a cream ale in appearance and flavor> I’m told by brewers that mixing pale with a lager at colonial taverns was hoe this style got started before it was brewed as a discrete style.
Malty, lightly hopped, light and mild. Good sessioner with no "off" tastes as some early reviews note. CapFlu (3340), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Oct 24, 2003 Updated: Apr 19, 2004(Draught) I was assured by our server that this was not the Raspberry Cream Ale even throught the flavour was very berry flavoured. Little aroma. High carbonation, thin white head and a gold body. Cream soda flavour with a berry finish. jerc (3217), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 13, 2003 Jan 2001: I enjoyed this one. Not much aroma, small head. Body on the thinnish side, but not bad. Compared favourably to Sleeman's Cream ale, one of the few I had had at the time. markymark (78), Duluth, Minnesota, USA Dec 31, 2002 Very smooth and creamy.....nice tasting. joey_capps (1464), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Sep 2, 2002 Pale straw yellow w/ slight head.Hardly any aroma.
