Pours red/brown with a medium sized tan head. Dull to no aroma. Off citrus bitter, brown sugar, toasty malts. Trace of herb or maybe some mint/menthol flavours. Very mild for a bitter with a washed out finish. Dull.

500ml bottle from a trade with boutip. pours copper with a small off white head. minimal toffee and pale malt aroma. very straight forward english style bitter pretending to be a brown ale. if it called itself lions pride esb it would have scored a 3.0, calling it a brown ale totally wrong.

500ml bottle from Monde des Bières.
Apparence : Clear amber small head no lacing.
Aroma : Sweet malt, notes of caramel. Citrusy hops. A bit mineral. Fruity notes as well. Very fresh and fruity right after the pour. Notes of toffee.
Taste : Sweet and malty. Crisp bitterness. Finish is a bit hot. Some fruits and caramel.
Overall : Rather refreshing and quite drinkable. Nice citrusy hops. Body is thin. This is very light and rather well balanced. I bet this is so much better on tap. Still, this is not bad at all.
