my notes say 'awful, horrible, terrible.' tastes like watered-down vb or something

Pretty nondescript beer. Found it to be a little soapy on the palate, but luckily their is little flavour to make it offensive.

It looks like lager except it has no head. It smells like lager, but it has no smell. It tastes of lager, but lager without flavour. This might as well be Budweiser. Honestly, Lion Light Ice is nicer to drink.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Raratonga. Very light and watery beer. A hint of citrus but just a poor beer.

Bottle. Clear yellow gold, medium white head showing poor retention. Grainy aroma, slightly sweet. Grainy palate, thin with a papery finish that seems to just vanish. Another bland faceless lager.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear golden with a dense, white head. Sweetish aroma of malt and brewing cereal. Medium body, some sweetish brewing cereal and cardboard notes. No bitterness. Rather poor. 070208

Bottle. Nice head. Cheap Lager. Smells like corn. Didn’t mind it. $20 for 18 Bottles. Smooth beer.

The second most horrible experience of my trip to New Zealand. Even warmed properly this beer doesnt deserve the title of beer. Its more like watered down dog urine...in colour and tone...(maybe even in taste...)

To think, many years ago when I was only in my early years as a beer drinker I used to like this stuff. The silly, innocent boy I was! What I can’t get over is the woody flavour I now get from it - how can that be good in a beer?! Fortunately, this beer appears to be less visible these days.

bright yellow with a big bubbly coke head. smells of corn and dust. tastes like cornflakes and cardboard. times like these you start to question where the rating mania takes you.
