| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Bottle from Steph’s sister in internatiional multipack. Clear golden color with small to medium creamy white head. Aroma is light grain and lager yeast with dry spicey hops and subtle lightly sweet malt. Flavor defintely knocked me back a little with heavy malt with medium sweetness, a little biscuit, a noticable alc presence, caramel, lager yeast and light hops. Medium and slightly syrupy body, light carbonation. Interesting, the syrupy body and sweetness doesn’t work for me as well as the almost acetone like light alc presence. What does work for me is that it’s not completely unbalanced for what it is. I also like the slight grapiness. jblendy (518), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 24, 2009 Despite the "imperial" label, I did not get too much beyond the lager taste. Pretty basic and if I were a lager drinking, I might be impressed. Ibrew2or3 (2848), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Pours clear deep gold with 10 second white head. The aroma is sugar sweet malts mixing with apricots, pears, apples, a sense of dark grapes and faint chemical booze. The taste starts a tad sharp with the carbonation pushing notes of plums, apricots, apples and pears across the palate. Midway sugar sweet malts surface. The light colored fruitiness wanes into the finish as the mouthfeel dries out some. Decent enough stuff since it ended less sweet than it started. Elwood (684), Leesburg, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 8, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear gold with a very tall, pillowy, white head. Very faint nose that reminded me a bit of play-doh. Light grain notes as well. Low carbonation with a medium mouthfeel. Light sweet grain, cereal, and fusel alcohol on the palate. Short finish. Pretty nondescript. hopscotch (5558), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 4, 2009 Bottle… Clear yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is a bit lactic and vinous – smells a touch like white wine. Medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. Leans on the sweet side of balance. Obligatory, mild bitterness. Sweet, minerally finish.
