Bottle from an Indian grocer in Wembley. Expectations were low. Surprisingly deep golden colour, this was a relatively malty tropical lager, had some (if not enough) hop. Went quite well with my curry. It’s a dull lager but this sample avoided any nasties and was refreshing enough.

Slight herbal, grassy notes on the nose, lifts it above the normal macro lager standard. Perfect curry juice!

Pre GBBF tasting at Chris and Ruth’s. Clear paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light pale malts. Some floralness. Very mild citrus. Light finish. Reasonably clean and certainly had many worse.

Lattina. Colore giallo oro. Limpidezza completa.
