2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Travlr (4514) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 13, 2008
A light lager than really does not stand out from the crowd. Tastes decent enough on a hot Sri Lankan afternoon, after climbing, and climbing, and climbing to all the Buddhist sites.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with almost no head at all. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Smells of malt and skunk. Taste was similar to a Bud. Very smooth easy drinking beer. Decent, but not great.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 espenra (609) - Kurland, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2008
33cl bottle from Barley Wine. It poured a pale, almost transparent golden colour
with a medium big creamy head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma is regular lager, a lot of malt, but it also has a hint of rice. The flavour is
thin and watery and tastes of, well, water and a bit of malt. It has a short,
almost non-existant aftertaste. A rather boring lager, but probably nice in the
summer or very warm places.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jcwattsrugger (8685) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 23, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a frothy white head and gold color. Aroma is sweet grain, Eurolagerish, touch of lime, some cereal/cardboard, slight earthy hops. Taste is sweet grain, Eurolagerish, touch of lime, some cereal/cardboard, slight earthy/spicy hops-balances the sweetness. OK carbonation. Thanks jwc215 for sharing.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 SpudClampDawg (1029) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - OCT 2, 2008
22oz bottle: Pale yellow body with a rising, white cap that leaves a good amount of lace. Mild aroma is pleasant and non-offensive. Light notes of straw, wheat and buttery caramel fill the nose. Spritzy carbonation. The remains mild and off-flavor free with more light caramel and straw. Finishes with a lightly grassy notes, without lending too much bitterness and overpowering the finesse of this beer. This is a pale lager that I would reach for again.
