Lion Pils

Poured from a Bottle. Underrated beer. Pleasant. Great to look at. Similar to foreign beers. I recommend this. Great head and gold colour. Sweet aroma

They stole it from the Czechs eh? Well give it back. This can't be the beer that the others have had, or is it just that now it has been available for a while that the macro brewer can afford to demean it? This is only mildly fragrant and is thin in the mouthfeel. If there are saaz hops they must have had the absolute bum boiled out of them. HANG ON!!!!! Here is the reason, this version says 4%. You bastards!!!!!

On the pour from the 12-ounce brown bottle a sparkling clear gold color with a modest off white head that upon its depletion leaves a thin sheet of lace to cover up the glass. Nose is mostly sweet malt, crisp and clean with the start nicely malted, slightly sweet and the top fair to middling in its feel. Finish is lightly hopped with moderate carbonation, quite dry aftertaste, a nice refreshing beer

My first of beer_ledgends brews that he sent me, and an appetizing swiller (which is a change from the swillers we get here in Oz). Subdued saaz flavours lead to a pleasant and smooth drink. although it didn't have really complex taste, i couldn't help but love it, a great session beer, and for a mass produced beer (i'm assuming it is), it maintains dignity.

This is a new beer relaesed by Lion Breweries. It has now become my beer of choice if i’m not rating other beers. Has good head, clean gold colour and sweet aroma. Love it, Marry it!!!
