Clear light amber beer, very small off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet caramel, nutty, some dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, light to medium body. Taste: sour start, then pretty bitter, toast, nutty, little sweet. Aftertaste: bitter hops, nuts, some mocha even, caramel, orange peel, very bitter ending. Reminds me more of a English bitter than an American Dark Lager, no?

On my travels of NZD lately poured from 330ml bottle, thin white head, little fora aroma, pale amberish color. Underwhelming experience, sort of a mainstream Kiwi beer to polish one after another without any satisfaction other than a cheap drunk. Unfortunately again weak on the alcohol.

330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a small white head that settles quickly to reveal only a few specks of lacing. Aroma is light caramel and cereal grains with some light hops. Taste is malty sweetness with a mild citrusy hop finish. Light body with light carbonation. A typical macro lager with some color added.

Bottle. Amber pour with a thin white head. Caramel malts on the nose with a hint of citrus hops. Taste is simple sweet malts and little else. Slight dry finish. Watery mouthfeel and thinnish body. Bland.

330 ml bottle. Red to amber body with a diminishing white head. Weak aroma of grain and sweet malt. Flavor is like any other mass-produced industrial lager. Light grainy, some malt, weak caramel, kinda fruity and a weak metallic kind of bitterness. Thin body and short aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Clear light amber hue, off white bubbly head quickly fully diminishing. Faint aromas of corn caramel and cardboard. Taste is moderately malty sweet, mildly bitter. Short dry finish, thin mildly creamy slightly metallic.
One of the first beers I ever tasted when I was young, it doesn’t taste any better now and its a wonder I gave beer another try after that.

Bottle 330 ml. Palate is ok, but not very interesting. Aromas of cardboard and light malt. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness. Oily palate, with a thin-to-medium body. Orange and bubbly, with a very thin frothy head.

Never brought it but drank it at times - not a quality beer - always want a good drop not a cheap one

Draft at The Thirsty Ram in Queenstown. Pours clear reddish gold with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma, with notes of grains, sugar, corn, hops, and caramel on the nose and palate. Easy to drink despite a hefty amount of carbonation. Not hard to see that this is one of New Zealand’s mass-marketed beers.
