KiwiInTheUK (6), London, Greater London, England does not count Jul 5, 2008 Drunk this one many a time at BBQs and whatnot, but I wouldn’t buy these muchlike Lions mass manufacture competitor DB gold. Tastes seem a bit messed up, especially if it’s warm, otherwise seems to have a bit of a stale taste. patricks110 (142), Alberta, Canada Jun 25, 2008 Light beer. Yuch. For a light beer, this was not too bad. Had several times on a recent trip to the Cook Islands. Compared to an Amercian macro light beer such as Coors Light or Bud Light, this beer trumps. A nice red brown colour with a medium to small head which dissapears fairly quickly. An aroma of hops and caramel. Mostly boring and too plain to go out of my way to get. phishpond417 (1386), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 17, 2008 Pours pretty light with a bright copper colour. Decent head, caramel, apples and biscuits in the aroma. Taste is going to be pretty light as well. But tolerable. TheGrandMaster (1434), Auckland, New Zealand Mar 5, 2008 Bottle, poured a clear copper with no head. A very grainy aroma, some sweet malt and a lot of metalicness. Tastes like dirt! No mouth presense at all, just a hint of sweetness. "It’s red, with a lion on it", and that’s about it....
