2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home, 330 ml. Into a stemmed glass. ABV 8.8%
Pours a really deep golden yellow colour beer, with two finger of white head. Thick density, average retention. Medium lacing on the glass.
Aroma is sweet, lots of malts and the alcohol already present. Not bad, but after a while it starts to smell kind of medicinal and that’s not so good either.
Taste is also very sweet and malty. Grass, strong alcohol -not so obvious on the tongue but notable once has gone down-, grains.
Medium thick body, carbonation good but towards the low side.
Although nothing impressive but still manages to taste better than the local supermarket strong beers.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Dark golden in the glass, white head. No real smell. The beer starts a bit sweet, highly drinkable and fruity. In the mainpart comes to the fruity nose a bit of alcohol. The aftertaste is a bit sharp, alcohol, malty-sweetness, not mine.
--> the 8.8% are noticeable all the time, the beer is quite sweet and has a huge lack of aroma.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bought in a shop in Sri Lanka. I brought this beer home from my holiday to Sri Lanka but unfortunately about 25% of the beer managed to seep through the top into my suitcase. As it was a 625 ml bottle I still had a fair bit to taste. Anyway, I wasn’t a great lover of it however despite it being the strongest beer I’ve ever tried I didn’t think the alcohol was overpowering and this was more than drinkable. So although not a thumbs up from me It’s still the best strong beer I’ve tried.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle 33cl, a copper beer with huge head, got gushing. Nose is very sweet and alcoholic like, aroma is on barley and corn sugar, alcohol is burning, monodimensional, boring.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Only character that this beer has is its alcohol strongness. More corn, less rice aroma. Some faint fruit and herbal notes. Medium-high carbonation. Pale yellow-orange colour.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
330 ml bottle. 125041924. BB Oct 2013. From bierzwerg.de.
Cloudy pale golden colour with a small frothy off-white head.
Almondy malty aroma with sweet sugar, marzipan and Play-Doh. And alcohol. The flavour is mostly alcohol. Some dryness, more alcohol and some malt and more alcohol in the flavour. Very boozy. The label is most definitely the best part of this experience. If you like the flavour of alcohol please have a try. You won’t be disappointed.
