Fresh, Tiger's Head, London. Lion's Den is a new brand name for beers from the Cameron & Castle Eden Brewery. I hope they'll settle on a permanent name soon. This is a traditional bitter - just slightly darker than usual. Black tea tannic flavour - darkish and tangy with some sweet spots. A slightly above average darkish bitter with a nice fruity nose.

Cask, Shunters Bar, Boston. Bronze with a dense off-white head. Aromas are tea with light berries and some spices. Flavours are light berry fruit with pepper. Quite vinous with some metal. A touch thin on aftertaste. Very average.

Cask Handpump at the Friar Penketh, Warrington (JDW) 27/10/2003 Mid brown coloured and sweet. Crisp lasting malt finish.
