COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lionshead Light, a light American lager, is crisp, clean and slightly dry with some residual sweetness. It is lighter in body than our Lionshead. We use the finest American two-row and six-row barley and corn.

Tmoney99 (7305) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 7, 2010
Bottle. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light sweet grainy aroma. Light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light sweet finish of short duration. Worth trying once, maybe.

Lubiere (7003) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 15, 2009
A light yellow ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a light sweet solvent with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a watery malted drink with rather annoying boiled veggies notes. On tap at Cisco Brewpub, Logan Airport, Nov. 15 2009.

DocLock (5977) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 4, 2005
Bottle from Epps, Limerick, PA. Pale gold pour with fizzy, quickly fading white head. Some hopcit and thiol aromas. Watery in body, with slight hopcit flavors. Another non-descript light beer, but this one has slightly more substance than the BMC offerings.

Rciesla (5498) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - SEP 9, 2009
Bottle. Just like the premium version not very good even for a pale ale with less of the not so great flavor or aroma, thinner and slicker then the last. Grain and lame. Pass.

HogTownHarry (4873) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - NOV 22, 2009
Bottle ( 12oz ). Very pale yellow, flat-looking, average white fizzy head that disappears fast. Aroma of butter, paper and cheap sweetened apple juice. Tastes like watered-down Corona mixed with apples, slighty bitter - no butter. Light, slick, decently carbonated mouthfeel, quick-finishing and no aftertaste - overall, not all that horrible.

Bottle [12oz] shared with garthicus -- c/o of HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a spare diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of corn and grain, of course, but also with some sweetness, a hint of fruit and some light hops -- could be worse. Flavour’s mild, watery and light but thankfully clean, with grain, pale malt and very light hops. Light bitter finish. Light bodied. I thought this would be much worse, I mean it’s not very good but for a Light lawnmower beer, you could do worse.

blipp (3920) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - NOV 28, 2009
Bottle. Clear yellow with a thin head. Light aroma with some almost malty hints. The flavor has an off malty sweetness with some weird adjuncty notes. Not awful, but regular Lionshead is noticeably better.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2007 Some hay in the aroma. The taste is something like what permant hair treatment smells-like; day old cut lawn. Quite un~offensive and laid back. Very decent carbonation. Easy to palate. No bitter attributes per se. Has manners. A good cheap lager. Finish is non assuming and well behaved. Very happy with this case. Only 46 US cents per bottle! Would not hesitate to purchase again. My undercap puzzle #409 translates to ......well, I can’t figure it out!

patrick767 (2843) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 4, 2010
bottle - Pours clear yellow with a one finger white head. It smells of grainy malt. It tastes of grainy, adjunct laden malt with a foul aftertaste. It’s weak and watery, another cheaply made, low quality beer. What’s the point?

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2010 I have always considered myself a Lionshead man, and this is the first time I tried Light. The flavor was similar to the original with some flavor slightly absent. Like a warm cherry pie sitting on a windowsil ready to be stolen.
