COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lionshead Light, a light American lager, is crisp, clean and slightly dry with some residual sweetness. It is lighter in body than our Lionshead. We use the finest American two-row and six-row barley and corn.

Cool puzzles under the cap and a relatively low cost make this a good lawnmower beer or a good party alternative to any BMC. However, the goodness pretty much stops there as it is oversweet and watery.

Rated on 4-03-2011 (Bottle) When poured, this beer has a small very, very fizzy white head that quickly dissipates, mostly transparent/slightly hazy yellow body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and no lacing. The aroma is grain and some corn. The taste is pale malt and grainy. The mouthfeel is lively carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is not tasty at all, lacks character and just does not inspire me to recommend or drink again.

Pours nearly clear, amber gold with a small, off-white head. Barley and corn malt aroma. Taste is your typical corn/grain light beer and water. Completely inoffensive... Thirst quenching... Cool cap.

My Dad swears by this beer that claims to be a Pilsener, but is really just yet another identical brew of American adjunt lager. If youíve tasted one, youíve tasted them all. Blech.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2014 It?s a typical light lager. Grain and malt flavor and watered down too. It has a certain lemony tang to it that the original does not.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear, light golden in color with a pure white head. The aroma and flavors are very clean slightly malty with a crisp finish. Good, cheap summer bbq beer.

Originally reviewed: 1/23/12. A friend of mine gave me a 6-pack of this the other day. Poured the final bottle into a pint glass for review. Pours a pale, translucent gold with fine lace on top. No head or lace left behind on the glass. Nose is of cheap grains and freshly-cut honeycrisp apples. The mouth is crisp and thin. Very light, not surprisingly. Very sweet beer. Light apple juice, mild corn, sweet finish. This drinks like flavored water, and it is refreshing. Iíll give it that. Decent enough to wash down some wings or something, but nothing Iíd stock the fridge with on a regular basis. My favorite part of this beer was the pictorial riddles under each cap. Nice little touch to an otherwise boring beer.

Cheap college beer. The flavor is about as close to water as you can get nut I assume if you are buying this youíre not expecting much

From a bottle poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Light malty flavor with a quick finish.

I suppose Iíve been overdue to rate a pale lager, so here we go. Serving: 12 oz. can from Jesse at Fireworks. It has your typical macro light appearance. The nose is rather non-descript, an attribute that I donít mind in this case. The taste is clean with a bit of grain but not much else. Very clean finish. Itís easy drinking and unoffensive, though it does lack flavor.
