COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lionshead Light, a light American lager, is crisp, clean and slightly dry with some residual sweetness. It is lighter in body than our Lionshead. We use the finest American two-row and six-row barley and corn.

My sole mission in life is to bump Lionshead up to at least a "4".

You can’t beat the price of this beer. $10 for a case of bottles. It’s very drinkable and you can’t really tell much difference from the non-lite lionshead.

From a bottle poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Light malty flavor with a quick finish.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2007 Some hay in the aroma. The taste is something like what permant hair treatment smells-like; day old cut lawn. Quite un~offensive and laid back. Very decent carbonation. Easy to palate. No bitter attributes per se. Has manners. A good cheap lager. Finish is non assuming and well behaved. Very happy with this case. Only 46 US cents per bottle! Would not hesitate to purchase again. My undercap puzzle #409 translates to ......well, I can’t figure it out!

This beer is from Pennsylvania but it is a dead ringer for a Polish pale lager. It’s grainy and lightly skunky despite being brown bottled. It’s clear straw yellow w/ a long lasting white head. Definitely light in texture w/ fizzy carbonation but I’d say this is much closer to being an actual Pilsener than most American lagers.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2008 Drank this one at Ian Preedys Mountain house - great night of poker and fun -Not bad at all for a light beer - very clear, light color and minimal head. What I like about this beer is the taste - very decent for a light beer.

Let’s start with the facts, the whole case was 10 bucks. It comes in a plain white box that only has the name and brewer on it. Out of a bottle, light golden color. Aroma lightly hopped. Flavor was light hops, not too much noticeable in way of adjuncts. Palate was ok, a very drinkable beer. Superb for the money.

12 oz bottle. I really enjoyed this. Better than Yuengling Light in my opinion. A fine choice w/ pizza

This is my favorite light beer to buy, for other people to drink. It has more of a flavor then key light and coors light, but i dotn think this beer has much of a place off of a college campus. The light seems to have more of a flavor then the regular lionshead

I have to say that this is the best $10 case of bottled beer that’s out there. There is no comparisson to Bud or Miller - this is actually drinkable. I would compare it more to Yuengling than to that other crap. Don’t get me wrong - it’s not on the level with a Yards or Victory microbrew - but it doesn’t intend to be. If you’re looking for a cheap but drinkable beer - this is it.
