3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BREWMUSKCLES (1609) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 12, 2009
RING on neck states "the best head in town" well they may get licked on that promise, but this was beer made by a company that brewed a beer with a little more hops and a bit more malt it was a little more sweet and flavorful with smooth body and foamy lingering carbonation that held the flavor well! and still refreshing it set the tempo so that folks could notice something just plain old better. and they managed to sell it for less money. honest true and good. i’m not saying that for me it’s unAmerican to not rate it well... just for me unappreciative.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Slipstream (1465) - USA - MAR 3, 2009
Called a deluxe pilsner on the bottle I had. Light fragrance and head. Very pale, insipid pilsner. It looks like it could be an interesting local (PA) beer, but it isnt. Boring.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 revans (39) - Salem, Ohio, USA - MAR 1, 2009
Bottle. Not bad for the money. My wife loves it and so at least, I don’t have to be seen buying Bud or Miller Lite.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 milljam (682) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 1, 2009
Pale lagers are all the same. Adjuncts, adjuncts and more adjuncts. That being said, I’ve had worse pale lagers, but its hard to enjoy something that tastes so balnd and generic.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Parrothead (277) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 14, 2009
Pours cyrstal clear light gold with a white head that doesn’t stick around. Aroma of ...of...well, not much, maybe some corn. Taste of corn, too. A locally brewed megabrew. Not much to say for it, but it’s OK.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 dagimp (416) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2009
Not much here to talk about. Poured out of a bottle with little head which didn’t last. Very clear with pale yellow coloring. Very little malt or hop flavor, actually, very little flavor at all. Drinks like a macro, not even a good one. Pass this one up and save your money by going with one of the big boys.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 MrBunn (2006) - Western, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2009
Bottle. Pours a transparent gold with just a wisp of a head, lots of carbonation rising to the surface and pleasant aromas of fruit, grass and corn syrup. Even though the aromas are alright, flavor falls apart a bit as the corn dominates and buries some of the more interesting things that come out in the nose. Even though it isn’t a bad beer, it loses its crispness and comes across as a little bit too sweet...
1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Jhouston (23) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 22, 2009
Not bad,but definatley not great. Okay for a cheap Pilsner. Would try again.but wouldn’t go out of my way to find it.
