COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A college favorite, Lionshead carries the traditional lion symbol painted on the outside of The Brewery since the early days of brewing in Wilkes-Barre. It is a crisp, clean, easy drinking American lager-pilsner style beer made with the finest American malts, corn, and hops.

A very typical pale lager. For the price it makes a great drinking beer, but nothing to sit down and enjoy.

Sad, run-of-the mill American Pale lager replete with adjunct ridden nose, slight corny sweet malt and barely apparent grassy hop nose. I wouldn’t drink this, even when offered free of charge.

Whoa, this sure is an ugly one. Pale clear piss yellow, fizzy as hell. Smell is of metal and corn. Taste is very sweet and bland, palate is very thin. Borderline swill, not undrinkable. For a macro lager it’s above average, but you can do MUCH better with a Yuengling...

There is just something exciting about drinking a Lions Head, as opposed to any other corn tasting domestic treasure one might stumble upon. This makes me feel mighty, and a much more strong and distinguished beer drinker. Although, the taste really doesnt differenitate much from say a PBR or a High Life, but Lions Head, Roar!!!!

Picked this up while at Penn State. A rather average lager. Pours a golden/straw color with many bubbles and a half-inch thin head. Not much of an aroma. Flavor had a hint of corn. Overall, this is a very average beer.

20100628 12oz bottle from State Line. Medium gold color with just a wisp of quickly diminishing head. Aroma of sweet cornbread, grape juice, kerosene. Flavor is sweet malts and a tiny bit of late earthy bitterness. Lingering blech.
