COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A college favorite, Lionshead carries the traditional lion symbol painted on the outside of The Brewery since the early days of brewing in Wilkes-Barre. It is a crisp, clean, easy drinking American lager-pilsner style beer made with the finest American malts, corn, and hops.

Lionshead is has an OK taste for an out of this world price. You can get it for 9.99 around this area. Can’t beat that!

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2006 Lionshead is a good beer. Lionshead costs close to $10 a case for some strange reason. I would compare Lionshead to Labatt Blue personally, giving the edge to Lionshead. This Beer could be priced in the $20 range if it changed it’s label to look a little more high class/commercialized.

The first words of the commercial description describe this brew best. Best bang-for-your-buck out there. Great session beer for me, nothing more.

For the price of this beer it is a very good product. It just bascially tastes like a weak pilsner but it does the job.

On tap at Taproom 307 as their house beer. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet grain on the nose, crisp with light hops. Crisp and sweet, grainy. Soft grain, a bit of sweetness. Soft bitter finish. Sweet, grainy, estery.

Good, inexpensive beer. Good yeasty wheat aroma with hints of grassiness. Mild but satisfyinly wheaty flavor. Good yeast and carbonation. Pretty dry on the finish with slight hop bite on the sides during the exhale.

sample atthe brewery Clear champagne color with medium white head and bubbles throughout. Aroma is sweetly grassy with some corn evident. Taste is reasonable, crackers and corn with a nice well-oiled mouthfeel.

Draft, Philly airport, terminal F. Clear gold with a small, fleeting head. Aroma is light honey and dry grass. Flavor is same plus some light citrus. Light watery body is right in the middle of smooth vs. rough.
