Commercial Description:
A college favorite, Lionshead carries the traditional lion symbol painted on the outside of The Brewery since the early days of brewing in Wilkes-Barre. It is a crisp, clean, easy drinking American lager-pilsner style beer made with the finest American malts, corn, and hops.

Bottle: Poured a golden yellow color with a thin head. The aroma was faint. The flavor was watered down, not much flavor. Just and ok beer.

Served: bottle. Recommended cold. Standard American-pilsner yellow with a straightforward flavor of malt and grasses. Quick clear finish but may leave a mild bitterness at the very end. This beer’s major redeeming quality is the pricetag: $12/case, and a local-brewery product better than generic canned brews of similar price. Also, the under-the-cap puzzles provide minor entertainment.

Bottle. Standard pale yellow in color, white foamy head, light malty aroma. Crisp and clean due to not much going on here. But, for $12 per case, you can’t go wrong. Good brew for tailgating.

Very plain beer. Watery, somewhat grassy. Light-medium bodied. Blonde beer with minimal head. Slight bitter aftertaste.

A gift from Singlemalter: Pours a golden body with thin white head. Has a pretty distinct grainy taste and a strong malted aroma. Finishes with a soft hoppy flavor.
