drink in brewpub in Dražíč, very good black yeast beer, strong caramel flavour

On tap at Zlý Časy, Praha. Dark brown (almost black) coloured, medium sized cappuccino head, dry caramel nose. Mild roasted malt, caramel and milk chocolate with notes of fruits and coffee. Touch of chestnut in rather dry finish. Simple and decent dunkel.

Bottled. Dark mahogany colour, creamy head. Soft and mid-dry. Roasty with coffee and butter. Light-medium bodied with chocolate and coffee. Pleasantly hoppy tmavý.

on tap at the brewery in the South Bohemian hamlet of Drazic. Dark colour, nearly black. Complex flavours: caramel, hints of toffee and coffee, fruity and slightly hoppy. Dry finish and hoppy aftertaste.

On tap at the Pivovarsky klub, Prag: Literally black coloured, firm creamy brownish head, distinctive roast-malty, a bit coffeeish and a bit fruity nose, a bit similar to a Porter, robust bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, gentle MF, drier fruity and coffeeish with some roast-malty notes. A fine, satisfying brew.........
