2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 yngwie (10798) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 31, 2009
Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It pours a clear, reddish golden body under a finger-thick, beige head. Toffee, some dried fruits and spent grains in the aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side, with toffee and some dried fruits. Some bitterness too, and unfortunately a little note of wet cardboard. Full-bodied and almost sticky sweet. Sweet, slightly bitter finish. Not my favorite one, but I think some food with it would have given a better experience. (090514)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MoritzF (7835) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 24, 2006
(on tap at the brewpub) Slightly hazy hazelnut-brown colour with a short but stable and slightly off-white creamy head (that reminds me of a nitro beer). Slightly fruity (dried fruits) dark malty toasty aroma. Medium sweettoastmalty taste with caramel and a fruity tinge; toasty and slightly bitter, light hoppy finish with a fruity and slightly tart aftertaste. Slim but well-made Dunkel.
