UPDATED: AUG 30, 2010 Growler courtesy of a traveling beer club member. This brew is a clear brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt and mild hops. Light body with a sweet malty flavor with notes of caramel and hops in the background. The finish is malty with a short sweet aftertaste. Slightly above average Amber overall.

On tap @ Liquid Bread. Carmelized, burnt orange appearance. Quite malty nose with a noted toastiness and nuttiness. Big malty amber beer again that’s fairly toasty and a bit nutty. Not too shabby.

Copper and clear appearance. A good rich texture with a grainy and malt-filled sweet flavor. Sour on the back, husky and grainy all around, but overall very fresh tasting. A simple recipe but well made.

Reviewed from notes. On tap at the brewpub in August 2009. Pours a moderate amber-brown color with a short off white head and just a touch of lacing. The nose brigs some light bready malt with a hint of caramel. Flavor is bread, caramel, and toffee. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Drinks pretty well overall but nothing too special.
