Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Mar 12, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Just tapped yesterday! Pours a see-through, light reddish gold body with a thin, creamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a light to moderate amount of lacing. Aroma is soft and faint. Not really a whole lot going on besides a hint of cooked caramel and maybe a light fruit. Definitely not picking up any hops. Flavor is decent. Simple amount of lightly roasted caramels and thats about it. A bit of (lemon?) creeps in towards the end, but its so light that its hard to pinpoint the taste. Palate is medium bodied and smooth. Overall, a pretty straightforward and relatively boring beer, but honored to be the first rater!
