On tap @ Liquid Bread. Very dark brown appearance with a cream colored head. Very roasty dark malty nose with a hint of espresso. Roasted, slightly burnt dark malty stout flavor with hints of chocolate and espresso. Roasty, dark malty aftertaste. My favorite at Lb. so far.

Tap at the brewpub in hays, KS. Deep pour, thick rocky coffee foam. Thick lacing. Nose is sharper hazelnut chocolate, gamey raw cocoa. Taste is dense, clean, rich cocoa and Nutella. Finishes dry with some bitter hazelnut chocolate. Pretty yummy. Impressive.

Dark brown color with some burgundy light at the bottom. Massively tall brown head. Up front it’s rich and with flavors of toffee and sweet amaretto, a toasty oatmeal under-flavor as well. Rich and sweet maple in present, with a liquer-like finish. Oats and some light smoke in the nose - a good beer but not excellent. Another regular recipe that was executed very well.
