Bottle-dark honey brown with a thick film of bubbles. Nose-sweet, pink grapefruit, PNW hops. Taste-cherry syrup, strawberry juice, medium bitter, candy sugar sweetness, black cherries, bubblegum, Juicy Fruit gum from the yeast, crisp hops. Maybe the best use of hops ever. Very nice.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Seemed like a double IPA to me. Pours with a largish, off-white head and a chill hazed orange body that leaves good lacing. Aroma of pink grapefruit with sugar and a cherry on top. Some salt and malt as well. Taste is grapefruit and some salt and bubblegum in thee finish. Syrupy mouthfeel. Quite good.

From a 22-oz bomber and shared by BDR, pours a clear copper amber brew with a thick and lumpy off-white head that has some excellent lacing. Aroma of citrus and piney hops, some light Belgian yeast, caramel and a touch of dark pitted fruits. Taste is medium to full bodied, light carbonation with flavors of hoppy and vegetable hop character, light caramel malt, some herbal spice and a touch of fruit. Finish has a mild metallic aftertaste, semi-dry with a lingering grapefruit hop aftertaste.

BIg thanks to Mjames for tossing a bottle of this my way. Clear amber with a light tan head. Big citrusy, caramelly fruity aroma. Medium body and smooth. Lightly sweet pale malt base with citrusy orange and earthy spicy yeast. One of Averys better attempts at a Belgian style.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Aubrey (3339) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - DEC 22, 2008
Clear and light amber with a nice head on top. Crisp on the tongue. Toasted bread, light toffee, nuts and grains in the malts. Hops were bitter and spicy, with snappy notes of orange, lemon, flowers and grass. Some bitterness lingers on the tongue, along with some nips of alcohol. Fairly easy to drink, though it does have a bold edge to it.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Ruby pour with a bone colored head. Nose: sugar, and the most pink grapefruit I have ever smelled on any beer. Tastes like pink grapefruit, and salty dough (pretzels.) Taste is really muted and has some citrus too.

Purchased this bottled beer at Liquor Mart. Expecting a belgian ale, the beer tasted more hoppy than I expected. Nice head, color and taste.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Indra (2473) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - DEC 29, 2008
22oz. bottle, obtained from the celebrated Liquor Mart itself. Softly fruity and sweet aroma, with notes of lemon frosting, faint spices and leafy hop. Hazy medium amber color with a persistent, fluffy, off-white head and thick sheets of lacing. Flavor is gently malty and bitter, with slight touches of citrus, pear and peppery spice, remaining largely dry throughout. Highly effervescent yet silky smooth palate, body is light-medium. Very drinkable, all in all.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 3fourths (6933) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 23, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2008 22oz bottle. Orange hazed appearance, sticky off-white head, nice look overall, thick building head, long-lasting, abundant lacing. Nose is dusty and minerally yeast with some pistachio and mint green hop notes in the nose. Frothy up front, more wet and heavy on the back. Solid malt base, but has some soggy grains and bread covered by the presence of slightly moldy sourdough and old, browned bananas. Not as bad as I expected.
