1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Light amber. The aroma is toasty/crackery. The flavour is toasty, a little post-Soviet in that way. Certainly nothing to do with Bavaria.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle in Kiev. Dark gold, flat. Grainy aroma. It completely falls apart, with an onslaught of diacetyl, coupled with harsh sulfuric elements that interfere with the immature husky pale malt. The nastiness lasts too long on the tongue. Drain pour.
