Bottle: Pours near to black, with a thick tan head. Smoky chocolate, oatmeal aroma. Flavour is wood-smoked coffee and chocolate malts.....vanilla. Excellent charred-malt light bittering after the initial sweetness. Very nice......a pleasure to drink.

Draft pour at the source. The beer is an opaque black with a velvety head of khaki foam. The aroma has a burnt toffee and caramel quality to it. I get some smoky notes as well. Medium body and a velvety mouthfeel. Differnt than what I was expecting. Really enjoyed it.

On tap at Pies and Pints Liberty Center. Pours a dark brown to black with a tan head. Aromas of coffee and malt. Taste the same with some malt and smoke flavors very little sweetness for a stout. Medium body for an oatmeal stout. Not bad but nothing to thrilling. Very nice lacing in the glass.

draft, at Glendale Cock & Bull. NOSE - slightly roasty, sweet maltiness. FLAVOR - great sweet stout, right on point for the style. NOTES - One of the best Listermanís brews that Iíve tried.

Draft at Listermann. Pours a deep brown with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, oats, burnt sugar, and toast. Flavor of roasted malts, cola, nuts, leaves, earth, and oatmeal. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts smooth and finishes roasty. Solid stout.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate malt, coffee grounds, and a hint of vanilla. Flavor of roasted malt, lots of chocolate, and a faint coffee presence with roast and char in the finish. Smooth and super drinkable. Excellent oatmeal stout. 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)

Draft many times. In short, a decent, local oatmeal stout. Pours brown in color with a small creamy beige head. The aroma and flavor have some base roasted malt, sweet malts, oatmeal smooths the mouth feel, hints of chocolate. Good drinking, sessionable stout.
