22 ounce bottle
Thanks to b3shine for sharing with myself and tastybeer. An interesting twist on the porter reminds me of Willoughby’s best release in the same vein. I don’t know that I would get another one when in Cincinnati but I would order it at the source.
Aroma / Appearance - A black oily base slips around the glass. A creamy beige head adds more character. Peanut butter, nutella, malt, and rye. It is almost like a quick lunch in a pint glass.
Flavor / Palate - Peanut butter, coffee, and chocolate is rich on the palate. A dry roasted finish wraps up a solid experience. This was a good discovery from a brewery that I did not expect to release such a great porter. At some point I will have to try more of their other styles.
