COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshing American style ale and oh so enjoyable on a hot Kansas summer day! Our most popular brew, we recommend this for those beginning to venture into the world of hand-crafted ales. Winter wheat malt is used to create a wonderful mild body with a hint of sweetness, and balanced with a dash of American hops. This beer is doubly refreshing when served with a lemon slice. Good flavor, makes the glass happy to hold the beer. also the initial taste and the aftertaste are pleasing for the drinker. Having only one locations makes it hard to find. One could say that one of the founders being from Engand brought his love of beer with him. The Little Apple Brewing Company is a nice resturant ins a amall Kansas town hosting a Big 12 team. The quality of Wildcat wheat is my favorite however the selections at the pub makes a good choise for all tastes.

Typical wheat appearance and aroma. Crisp and refreshing. Seemed to be a bit more hoppy than other American wheats. An OK American wheat.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2006 Bright gold body that is slightly hazy with a thin white head. The aroma is very light lemon with not much else to smell. The taste has lemon drops with some grass. Refreshing and good for the style.

On tap.
Pours a lightly hazy pale straw yellow with a thin, quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is slightly faint yet pungent with tart lemon and grassy hops. Flavor is grassy-tart up front followed by a crisp, earthy medium hop biterness and a crisp dry grainy finish. Light mouthfeel with a thinnish palate. An Ameican wheat that seeks to neither challenge nor offend one’s tastebuds, and generally succeeds on both counts.

Sampler at the brewpub. Clear, dull pale golden color. Light diacetyl with tartness. Flavor thankfully is missing the diacetyl and is mostly a tart and mineral watery beer.

This wheat is pale gold; light and thin, but has a nice crispness and a spicy pepper finish that kept me interested.
