COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Brewers favorite, our stout is made with a special blend of six different malts and hops from the Pacific Northwest. We then use nitrogen carbonation to create a rich and creamy brew with a wonderful roasted flavor.

Pours a deep almost black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, caramel and honey roasted nuts. Flavor of milk chocolate milkshake, touch of caramel.

Sickeningly sticky beer. An incredible amount of caramel and butter in what should be a beer dominated by its chocolate or coffee roastiness. I had trouble finishing it.

Had this beer every time I have visited the brewpub and its never been off, which is something very special for this brewery. Looks great off nitro, adds a thickness to the mouthfeel I don’t get much from their other beer. Plenty of roast a unsweetened cocoa and all very drinkable. If you only get one beer here make it this one.

Sampler at the brewpub. Comes almost black with a nice thick tan head. Aroma of malt and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, and a touch of hops. Rich and creamy. Nice.

Pours black with frothy tall nitro head. Smell is smooth and slightly sweet. Taste is mild, very light body, light sweet stout with light creamy well blended malt bill. Slightly dry bittering finish with a touch of coffee. Enjoyable overall

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2008 4 oz taster at the brewpub. Pour is all black with a well formed and retentive tan nitro head. Aroma of slightly sour malt and some coffee roast. Taste is coffee roastiness, some mild vanilla sweetness and milkiness. Palate seems a bit flat, that’s probably the nitro. This was decent, though.
