Clear deep ruby color, good creamy beige head, lace. Light coffee-milky aroma, a bit grainy too. Medium-bodied. Light toastyness, tobacco, berry-like flavors, vegetables lurking behind the coffee beans notes. Light tartness in the finish. Not impress me, but nice to rate the first one from this.

Bottle at home from ales by mail
Dark ruby brown with fluffy tan head. Redcurrant and dusty whisky bondhouses on the nose. Certainly interesting. High carbonation in the mouth but also quite thin. Red fruits, some malt astringency and residual sweetness. Cherry and cardboard in the finish. There’s certainly a good beer in there somewhere, cask might be interesting.
