COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Little Creatures “Bright” is a top fermented uniquely new Australian ale. As the name suggests, “Bright” is a filtered beer with a striking golden clarity in the glass. We use 4 luscious malts including Pale, Carapils, Wheat and Vienna. The beer is full flavoured whilst soft and easy on the palate making it very approachable. The alcohol is 4.5% alc/vol. Bitterness is slightly lower than our highly charged Pale Ale and is accentuated enough to balance the smooth, malty character. The hop characteristics in “Bright” is derived from the use of highly aromatic New Zealand B Saaz Flowers as well as varieties from the North West of USA. Clean, distinctive, full-flavoured, smooth and very more-ish!!

Darker straw gold color. Two finger bright white billowy head. Some visible carbonation. Nose is cereal malts, some spicy hops and stale cardboard and bread. As warms it does lose the cardboard and gets more stale bread. Cereal and bread it the mouth with some short lived spiciness. Clean with a decent dry spice to this. Lighter bodies and good carbonation. Simple beer that does its job but not real inspiring. Forgetful 10 minutes after drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light on the hops with a decently sweet malt body. Well balanced for a golden, easy drinking beer.

Pint bottle poured into a pewter stein. Fairly small head that dissipates quickly. Aroma citrus, pot pourri, cane syrup. Citrus up front in the taste, then the lightly toasted malts and sweetness open up. Good session beer for a hot day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Light gold, good head that slowly dissipates and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and a sweetish malt. Light, refreshing citrus flavours with a decent malt background. Good session beer on a warm afternoon.

Toast and fruit aroma. Odd taste of seaweed, sushi, avocado, and fish sauce. Light bitterness in the finish. Would probably go well with sushi. Gosh, I feel like I just had maki on a bottle.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2014 Re-rate. New batch is far superior to the old. Higher IBU is certainly noticeable. Citrus notes are more pronounced, malt backbone is sweeter. Bitterness is also better utilised to give this beer more character. This beer lacks flavour. Little creatures beers are usually usually loaded with flavour. I understand that this beer is flavoured less to make it more refreshing, however this is a little too blank. Golden colour, transparent with little aromas. Not the best

568 ml bottle. Clear bright golden yellow, mostly lasting compact creamy white head. Sweet malty fruity aroma. Lightly bitter bready lager malt taste, slightly floral and fruity. Soft carbonation, light body, lightly hopped. Finish has a British influenced sessional blandness. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

568ml bottle pours a golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some nice spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and grainy. Taste is a grassy hop bitterness with a light grainy malt sweetness. Light bodied with modest carbonation. Very typical of a standard macro style lager. Not very pleasant and certainly not recommended.
