2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 omega (490) - - MAY 4, 2012Little nose with this beer and the appearance is clear golden colour. Not a very bitter beer, but it is well balanced. Just doesn’t offer much for a hop head.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Machalel (24) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 19, 2013
Appearance: Very light and clear gold colour. Small amount of white head (1 cm), quickly disappearing in around 10-15 seconds. I would have rated it higher if it wasn’t for the lack of head retention.
Aroma: The first thing that hit me was passionfruit. A bit of citrus, apple, and honey afterwards. Very vibrant and pleasing.
Taste: Quite different from what I was expecting from the aroma. A slight amount of honey and very mild citrus, but the main body of it was a sweet, crisp yeasty taste, with a slightly mineral-y aftertaste. A disappointment after the vibrant and ’bright’ bursts of aroma beforehand.
Mouthfeel: Light body and a bit sharp. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Very easy to drink, although after finishing the bottle, I felt like a second wouldn’t have been as pleasant. Definitely one for summer, or to help introduce macro-drinkers to other styles.

a nicer change from the mainstream beers however i wonder what will happen to the recipe and brew processes now that Lion Nathan own the company.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 ShaneJ (86) - AUSTRALIA - APR 24, 2013
Bottle (pint) from Dan Murphy. Clear golden, so lacking in anything to like. Almost like they put Pale Ale through a fine strainer, removing the haziness, along with the aroma and flavour. Thin body, slightly metallic taste. Blah!
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jmgreenuk (1287) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAR 24, 2013
Bottle... and literally from the bottle... at the Brussels Beer Cafe, Kuala Lumpur. I Have no idea what it looked like or even smelled like to be honest, as I drank it Aussie style. It tasted pretty good though. It was light, but rather zesty, floral and a little hoppy. It wasn’t bad at all and there were plenty of flavours in there to enjoy. I’m surprised the rating is so low. This is not a fizzy lager!
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 jamestulloch (477) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 19, 2013
Aroma: Sweetcorn and metal aroma with the merest hint of citrus fruit.
Appearance: Clear golden body with a thin frothy white head that quickly fades. Light carbonation. No lacing.
Taste: Soft fruity flavours of apple and lemon. Very sweet.
Palate: Thin body with a watery texture. Light carbonation fizz.
Overall: Very disappointing. Is this really from the same brewery that produced Little Creatures Pale Ale?
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 johndoughty (3286) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2013
Bottle. Orange appearance and quite clear. Small head with a slight bitterness. Not a lot of body for its strength. Pretty inoffensive and easy to forget.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MarkQ (58) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 12, 2013
Something might be wrong with my taste buds but I thought this stuff tasted like apples... the head stick around for a while. 568 ml pint bottle. Better than some other Aussie beers that I’ve sampled in my lifetime.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Westkyoto77 (135) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 1, 2013
Bright, like it says on the bottle. Smooth, light, but nothing really to make your tastebuds sit up. Tasty enough with some spicy food.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 LesArgen (131) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 15, 2013
The aroma is sweet corn, honey, a little nougat and some cut grass. A reasonably malty taste is twinned with a bubbly palate to produce something a little more gluggy than you might expect from a light ale. There are some nice, lemony hops but it’s overwhelmed by a fairly nasty aftertaste
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 fletchfighters (821) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 31, 2013
Darker straw gold color. Two finger bright white billowy head. Some visible carbonation.
Nose is cereal malts, some spicy hops and stale cardboard and bread. As warms it does lose the cardboard and gets more stale bread.
Cereal and bread it the mouth with some short lived spiciness. Clean with a decent dry spice to this. Lighter bodies and good carbonation.
Simple beer that does its job but not real inspiring. Forgetful 10 minutes after drinking.
