Hint of passionfruit in aroma. Some cinnamon. Pours rusty orange. Taste of orange peel. Hops not strong. Light on front of tongue and just a splash of bitterness at the end. Even though 6.5% doesn't taste heavy.

Pours a cloudy coper xolour woth a small white head. Aroma is some citric elements, passipnfruit and some hay. Taste is much the same. A bit too bitter finish for me. It’s much like the pale ale, but more bitter and some slight bigger body. I liked the pale ale better.

Promised a lot on the nose but didn't deliver on the palette. Nice on the front with those classic little creatures pale ale floral notes but no sustained bitterness as I'd hoped from something claiming to be an IPA.

Bottle - pours deep gold with a big white head. Big floral and stone fruit, almost vanilla like creamy smell. Taste is passion fruit up front with a dry finish which us not overbearing, but very subtle. Mouthfeel is just lovely an creamy. Really nice beer!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale ale très légère comme la Sierra Nevada pale ale, ou la Liberty ale, pas très amère, sur le houblon, très facile à boire, manque un peu de fruit.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden pour with a thin white head. Grapefruit, mango and a little malty aroma. Taste is mostly grapefruit with a little piney note to it, biscuit, and finish holds a little bitterness. There are definitely bigger and bolder local IPAs around but this is pretty good, and very easy drinking.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2014 Pint at the Geelong brewery. Deep golden color. Medium carbonation with a light foamy head. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit. Reflected know the taste. A much more refreshing ipa than most coming from the US. Floral and passionfruit flavours on the tongue also. Perfect for summer. A little too sweet though

330mL bottle. Pours clear gold with a small persistent white head. Strong aroma of citrus, passionfruit, biscuity and toasty malts. Fairly malty flavour with a hoppy tang, mild sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation with a lingering finish.

A very nice floral IPA. Excellent flavour and lasting bitterness on the palate. Very good drinking but be careful of the 6.4 abv.

From a 330ml bottle on 4/12/2013. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange, with a smallish, thin head. It kicks off with a nice, light fruity aroma, which is perhaps a touch subdued by IPA standards. Taste wise, this isn’t a typical yank IPA clone - citrus and tropical fruit are really prominent (orange, lemon and mango), and there’s a bit of biscuity malt, followed by a firm yet relatively subtle zesty, herbal bitterness at the back. LC have made an IPA which is nicely balanced and a little bit unusual. A very welcome addition to the range.
