3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle from Thirsty Camel at Eumundi. Ive been keen to try this one and had heard mixed reports, however this was pretty good. Nice fruity aroma but not much of a head. Very nice fruity, citrus tastes not unlike Hop Hog surprisingly. I reckon the good folk at Little Creatures have modelled this on their Feral opponent knowing if they can get it close, it?s a winner. Hides the 6.4% well. I was impressed and keen to try this on tap. Nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours amber with a fading head.
Nose shows tropical fruit, rich caramel and fruit confectionery.
Very similar flavours, more of the fruit and confectionery along with some of the sweet malt. Finishes with an assertive but balanced bitterness.
Carbonation seems a little high.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The beer Creatures had to make! Frighteningly similar to Hop Hog - is there a copyright issue?... Very welcome addition. Only a smidge less rated by me than Hop Hog which means... I like it... A lot. If these two beers were women, I’d have to have a ménage a trois.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
News of bottling problems spread quickly here in Perth over this one. The units that made it to retail are all over the show and this was clearly evident in the four-pack I had picked up. A re-rate shall follow.
Orange, bright and very sparsely carbonated. Head holds for a few minutes before fading off. Nose is dominated by hops - all camphor, vine clippings, grass and bitter herbs, eucalypt and a strange note of anise. A touch too much diacetyl pokes its ugly head in too. Quite thin, subdued, almost watery on the palate. Dry, bitter and herbal length with a flavour reminiscent of sucking on a toothpick. Carbonation is low. Alcohol pleasantly restrained being a positive. A touch of butter, sulphur and burnt toast dwells briefly between sips. Cereal-like malt sits nervously in the background. Not in fine form. I will definitely be trying this one again down the track. (33cL, BB 12/05/14, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a nice golden orange with a solid frothy white head. Nose is quite tropical fruit and citrus driven. Aroma has me excited!! Taste is a little bit of a let down. Inoffensive hoppiness with only a subtle citrus hop bitterness. Overall a pretty rounded ipa that should appeal to the masses. Not too bad! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewery. Pours golden orange with 3cm of fluffy white head.
Upfront tropical aroma, passionfruit, mango and a bit of pine from galaxy and amarillo I’m guessing. Body is a bit too weak/watery - I’ve noticed this in the pale ale too lately so I’m not sure if its a new recipe (hop oil perhaps?). Palate has big tropical notes, similar pine and a touch of English style bitterness. Sessionable beer, kinda tastes just like a bigger version of their pale to be honest.
