For the past decade we have poured much of our passion into brewing the best Pale Ale possible and we now feel the time is right to give you a little more…
Sitting alongside our Pale Ale, the IPA will deliver the big, rugged hop flavours and the citrusy nose that you would expect. However you’ll also detect aniseed and savoury notes, balanced out with a long firm bitterness to finish.

(Bottle) Clear amber, little short-lived white head. Lovely aroma full of tangy fruit - apricots, citrus - with pine and biscuity malt. Light body with bright carbonation. Nice bold flavour with hops featuring throughout from stone fruit at the start to a fairly decent bitter finish, all overlaid on a quite pleasantly sweet maltiness. A good, slightly different, take on an IPA.

Bottle. Amber with a white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, biscuit, nectarines, lychees, spices. Sweet with stone fruit, grapefruit and spices creeping up quite quickly. Firm bitterness. Good, but won’t tear me away from their pale ale.

Seeing all the "similar to Hop Hog" comments I opened one of them too. This is less bright and vibrant in aroma and lacks the wafting tropical notes of Hop Hog, but has a bit more guts in the malt side of things without being appreciably sweeter. Finish is drier and spicier.

Bottle. Hazy gold, with a head that quickly dissipates to a thin foam. Some lacing. Big passionfruit aroma, backed up by grapefruit and a touch of honey and pine. Immediate hop flavours of grapefruit, pine and a slight honey backnote, not dissimilar to the pale ale, but without the big malt presence. Smooth, balanced, slightly resinous mouthfeel, but without the mouth puckering bitterness many brewers think they have to deliver. Nice beer, worth the wait, not quite as good as their pale ale but very worthy of having a case sitting in the fridge for a Tuesday night refresher or when mates drop in. Good to see the sell out hasn't effected the flavour ..... yet

From 330 ml bottle. Pours a clear bronze-amber with a thin white head and good carbonation. Aroma is full of tropical fruit scents of pineapple, guava, grapefruit, passionfruit and touches of lime and pine. The taste however doesn’t quite deliver what the nose promises. It starts out with some sweet malts and soft fruit, before a lightly zesty citrus note comes through, but not the expected hoppy bitterness. Finishes very dry with little in the way of aftertaste. Not bad but perhaps a bit underdone.

Bottle from Plonk. Clear orange, smallish off-white head, tropical fruit, sweet orange/citrus aroma, not as bitter as I was expecting, sweet fruity flavour, peach, orange, caramel, a bit thin in texture, nice but was expecting much more.

330ml bottle from Thirsty Camel at Eumundi. Ive been keen to try this one and had heard mixed reports, however this was pretty good. Nice fruity aroma but not much of a head. Very nice fruity, citrus tastes not unlike Hop Hog surprisingly. I reckon the good folk at Little Creatures have modelled this on their Feral opponent knowing if they can get it close, it?s a winner. Hides the 6.4% well. I was impressed and keen to try this on tap. Nice beer.

Pours amber with a fading head. Nose shows tropical fruit, rich caramel and fruit confectionery. Very similar flavours, more of the fruit and confectionery along with some of the sweet malt. Finishes with an assertive but balanced bitterness. Carbonation seems a little high.

Tropical fruit aroma. Nice bitterness, pine citrus and tropical fruits. Nice drinking IPA well hidden ABV, not sweet. Very similar to the Feral HopHog.
