For the past decade we have poured much of our passion into brewing the best Pale Ale possible and we now feel the time is right to give you a little more…
Sitting alongside our Pale Ale, the IPA will deliver the big, rugged hop flavours and the citrusy nose that you would expect. However you’ll also detect aniseed and savoury notes, balanced out with a long firm bitterness to finish.

Sweet fruity aroma. It has a slightly hazy golden appearance. A balanced hoppy flavour that corresponds with the malt profile and a slightly sweet taste with a firm but not overpowering bitterness. Little to no head. An all round great example of an IPA.

One of Australia’s better IPA’s on the market. Plenty of hops on the nose and the taste buds. Definitely worth a try.

Tap at Fortune of War. Leafy aromatic hops, cloudy Amber, white lace. Grainy malt, a bit DMS, green hop finish. Allright

Draught at Buckley’s, Sydney, on October 19, 2015.
A bit hazy amber color, off-white head. Citrus, hoppy, some caramel taste. Caramel, hoppy aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Mild hoppy scent.

Pleasingly different to my usual NZ IPAs. Slight cloudiness promises a natural and slightly feral drop, with a well rounded hop aroma to boot. Lovely bitterness.

BB 25Jan16. Poured a clear orange brown colour with 5mm of off-white foamy that diminished rapidly to a collar that laced poorly. Carbonation extremely low and fine. Aroma subtly but inviting of citrus (grapefruit, orange), tropical fruits and malt. Taste strongly of citrus/grapefruit, hints of passionfruit, subtle sweet maltiness; hoppy bitterness dominates. Light body. Clean, crisp, refreshing with malt sweetness and a moderate bitterness on the finish, Quite good.

330ml into tulip glass. Mild orange/tangerine nose. Copper coloured beer with lasting fluffy white head. Quite high carbonation. This has quite a subtle hop bitterness leading to fruity caramel then a long bitter finish, liqourice lurks in the background. Nice beer, dangerously quaffable at 6.4%

Bottle. Ambery Id guess (straight from bottle). Piney caramels, citrus, some green berryish/green tropicals on nose. Piney, robust. Med bodied, caramels sweets, well bittered. Pine in finish. Quite nice piney fruity ipa.

Beautiful amber, thin blonde head, aroma of grapefruit, that leads well to the hoppy finish. A very nice IPA.

Citrusy US hops aromas, like a beefed up version of the pale ale. Comes in a handy four pack to distinguish you from Johnny six-pack.

American style IPA. Pours a cloudy orange golden colour with an off white creamy foam that dissipates slowly. Has good carbonation. Sweet Apple malt aromas. Slight hoppy bitterness at first but a strong malty finish. medium body mouth feel. Overall a nice beer for those that want the higher ABV but other American pale ales can be just as rewarding without the strength.
