For the past decade we have poured much of our passion into brewing the best Pale Ale possible and we now feel the time is right to give you a little more…
Sitting alongside our Pale Ale, the IPA will deliver the big, rugged hop flavours and the citrusy nose that you would expect. However you’ll also detect aniseed and savoury notes, balanced out with a long firm bitterness to finish.

Bottle - pours deep gold with a big white head. Big floral and stone fruit, almost vanilla like creamy smell. Taste is passion fruit up front with a dry finish which us not overbearing, but very subtle. Mouthfeel is just lovely an creamy. Really nice beer!

A surprisingly good IPA in Australia, I’m completely shocked. Good flavor and well balanced malt flavors. Nice beer.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2016 Aus der Flasche im Aussie-Pub in Riga getrunken. Interessante Fruchtigkeit, die man bei den Aussies eigentlich nicht vermutet hat. Wo sind die IBUs???

Fool. I’d become so jaded by the run of mediocrities released under this label since the original pale ale that I paid this no heed until someone brought a four-pack around to dinner. Eye-opener. I’d forgotten how good LC can be when it gets it right, as it does here. Peachy gold, short but enduring head. Ripe, summery nose featuring bitter lemon, pink grapefruit, quinine and mango. Big, creamy mouthfeel. Bright summer berries, grapefruit juice tartness, grass. Salty finish. The kind of big, satisfying session IPA I like. Bitterness at 60 ibus is good, but not so overpowering you need to back off after one. Can see this becoming a regular in the fridge. (330ml bottle from Dan Murphys)

Bottles at the Royal George Sydney. Nice aroma. Smooth on the palate. Cellar dank and sharp bitterness. Blue cheese. Low sweetness. Some salt. Earthy but no citrus as advertised.

Bottle@Banksia, Copenhagen - orange golden pour with white head and lacing. Fresh fruity and hoppy, with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, good caramel malty sweet base, good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My favourite Australian IPA by a long shot. Delivers a great hoppy and bitter punch throughout. Need not say more except read the review below.

330 ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long.

Looks: Translucent amber honey colour with a very faint trace of yeast sediments; Three-quarter finger head with crumpety off-white foam which klasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with near zero carbonation.

Aroma: Fragrant Ale malt, with strong floral, citrus peels, white grapes, dew melons, candied fruits, honey, pine needles, earth, bread, yeast and grass. Very nice!

Taste: Close to medium sweet Ale malt, with light grapefruits, lime peels, light caramel, floral, light molasses, pine, earth, spices, dry biscuits, lime, quite strong bitter hops and grass.

Body: Mid to light body. Dry and slick palate.

Mouth Feel: Very good Ale maltyness in a slightly watery background. Rye is very notable with dryness and strong spice feel. Fair sweetness, biscuity with some caramel in base, hops dominance as in strong lime peels, grapefruits, pine and earth. Fruity, peely and refreshing!

Hoppiness: Strong floral, citrus peels, white grapes, dew melons, candied fruits, honey, pine needles, earth and grass in nose. Light grapefruits, lime peels and flesh, floral, pine, earth, spices and grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, mid to high-astringent malty finish.

After Taste: Dry. Citrusy and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one is better than its Pale Ale counterpart, mostly because of the fine bliss of assorted fruity and piney aroma, spice rye, and distinctly sharp hoppy lime peels. Light and refreshing throughout, will buy again!

On tap, pours a perfect light amber colour with a crisp white head that left some nice lacing. Has a delicious hop aroma and taste that is very pleasant and smooth but still leaves a nice bitterness aftertaste. Must’ve had this beer over 100 times but never rated it, one of the most balanced, drinkable, affordable IPAs out there.
