Very very clear. I appreciate a good cream ale, but rarely find creamy ones. This was an example of a non creamy one.

Aroma: Grape cough syrup, very light hay. Appearance: Still light yellow with a thin white head that went away entirely. Flavor: Grape drank, slight hay underbelly. Palate: Medium body, thick texture, flat carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Not as bad as I made it sound, but wouldn’t go for it again.

Sweet corn with light malt. Clear golden pour with creamy white head and lace. Sweet corn with a touch of maltiness. Sweet start a dry middle to a semi sweet lingering finish. A touch of floral notes at the end. No oxidation. Light bodied with pretty good carbonation. Light refreshing beer with no off tastes smooth. My bottle was fresh as a daisy no oxidation no off flavors

Pours a light golden color with a fair head. Aroma seems a bit musty with some malt sweetness and quite grainy. Taste of malt sweetness and plenty of grain. Easy bitterness and fairly dry finish. Light body, light crispness and a bit creamy. Not as bad as people make it to be, but it is what it is. Might be the last of the beers served in a "Pony Bottle".

7 oz green bottle from Anderson’s, Dublin, OH. Thanks, Dad. Biscuit, corn, slight skunk. Minimal white head, heavy carbonation. Malty, corn, bland, sweet. Skunk is barely there and unfortunately more skunk would be a significant improvement because it would be something more than flavorless. Can’t think of more than a handful of beers that are worse than this.

Sampled at esbls. Light golden and thin. No head. Aroma of forn and light malts with skunk. Flavor is thin with little going for it. A little effervescence. Not a lot happening.

7/03/2010: Little Kings Cream Ale... Aroma: Sweet biscuits, cream, and corn with just a tinge of skunk lurking in the background. Appearance: Straw color; crystal clear and clear; sparkling carbonation; minimal white head. Flavor: Lightly fruity pale maltiness with some corn dryness; vanilla/cream; a very faint grassy hoppiness and bitterness keeps this beer balanced. Palate: Pretty light-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture. Overall: This beer is nothing great, but isn’t that bad either... Sometimes this is just the right amount of beer; I think this beer is better now than it was in previous years; a good benchmark beer (when fresh) for the Cream Ale style...

7 fl. oz. green twist-off cap bottle enjoyed at Terry’s Turf Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rating #314 for this beer.

Tiny 7oz green bottle. All I have heard my whole life is how these were the best back in the day. Lets find out.. Translucent gold color with a thin white head. Aroma of corn, a bag of shwag, and sweet malts. Very watery. Taste more water than anything else. Corn, caramel, with a bit of skunk. So old people don’t know what good beer is.. Does have a nice creamy texture that kind of wraps around the tongue. Sweet dry finish.

Going from memory since the last time I drank this beer was 1984, yeah... that was before I was actually old enough to drink beer legally. But anyhow here it goes. It’s amber, bubbly, and smelled like the floor of a bar. I bit like old beer and vomit. Tasted like it too, old beer and vomit that is.
