Draft at the flying piglet. Corny and skunky. Refreshing though, as it goes down like water.

7 ounce bottle from Total Wine Huntersville, NC. Cute little bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Skunky aroma with notes of grain and corn. The taste is skunk, apples, corn. Thin bodied. Would be drinkable if it weren’t skunked from the green bottle.

The color of this beer is a clear golden color with a slight white head, but the aroma smells like bread yest, skunk, and sugar cane. The taste is slightly sweet and slightly sour, which is neither too overpowering nor too unpleasant, but there still isn’t much substance to the taste; furthermore, the palate combines a medium-thin body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish.

I can say straight away that this is a beer that I think anybody could drink and not spit out in disgust. It doesn’t even taste like a beer, in my opinion, and that’s the reason why. Early on, I got a lot of a vanilla/vodka flavor. After a few sips, I pretty much tasted nothing ... and there was no bitterness. I rate it as highly as I do because it’s super sessionable, drinkable, inoffensive, and just really good for any occasion. Not just that, but the bottle’s attractive ... especially, I’d think, for the female drinkers. The bottle’s a measly 7oz.

Golden yellow with sparkling head. Looks like American light lager. Tastes much like American light lager but with a sweet grain and hints of banana, probably from more fruity ale yeast, that give it a little more.

I’m a bit partial toward cream ales and this is an old favorite of mine. Another old favorite that I haven’t had in ages is Red Cap Cream Ale.
