Bottle. Poured a clear yellow-amber with a super small white fizzy head that dissapated rapidly and had no lacing. The aroma was of grain malts, a grassy hop and a soapy yeast. It tasted sweet with an ever so light hoppiness from start to finish. Mouthfeel was light in body and creamy yet watery in texture with a soft carbonation. Overall a a very light brew which is typical of cream aleís, but have to say it is quite drinkable yet nothing special.

7 oz green bottle from Andersonís, Dublin, OH. Thanks, Dad. Biscuit, corn, slight skunk. Minimal white head, heavy carbonation. Malty, corn, bland, sweet. Skunk is barely there and unfortunately more skunk would be a significant improvement because it would be something more than flavorless. Canít think of more than a handful of beers that are worse than this.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
7/03/2010: Little Kings Cream Ale... Aroma: Sweet biscuits, cream, and corn with just a tinge of skunk lurking in the background. Appearance: Straw color; crystal clear and clear; sparkling carbonation; minimal white head. Flavor: Lightly fruity pale maltiness with some corn dryness; vanilla/cream; a very faint grassy hoppiness and bitterness keeps this beer balanced. Palate: Pretty light-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture. Overall: This beer is nothing great, but isnít that bad either... Sometimes this is just the right amount of beer; I think this beer is better now than it was in previous years; a good benchmark beer (when fresh) for the Cream Ale style...
7 fl. oz. green twist-off cap bottle enjoyed at Terryís Turf Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rating #314 for this beer.

Tiny 7oz green bottle. All I have heard my whole life is how these were the best back in the day. Lets find out.. Translucent gold color with a thin white head. Aroma of corn, a bag of shwag, and sweet malts. Very watery. Taste more water than anything else. Corn, caramel, with a bit of skunk. So old people donít know what good beer is.. Does have a nice creamy texture that kind of wraps around the tongue. Sweet dry finish.

Going from memory since the last time I drank this beer was 1984, yeah... that was before I was actually old enough to drink beer legally. But anyhow here it goes. Itís amber, bubbly, and smelled like the floor of a bar. I bit like old beer and vomit. Tasted like it too, old beer and vomit that is.

Pours a clear golden with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly and had a lot of carbonation. Aromas of grains and light skunk. Taste is sweet, grainy aftertaste. Light skunk, but not as bad as others Iíve had (cough... Stella). Slightly creamy mouthfeel, easy going down. I donít think itís very good, but I didnít grow up in the 70s.

Draft at the flying piglet. Corny and skunky. Refreshing though, as it goes down like water.

7 ounce bottle from Total Wine Huntersville, NC. Cute little bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Skunky aroma with notes of grain and corn. The taste is skunk, apples, corn. Thin bodied. Would be drinkable if it werenít skunked from the green bottle.
