Life’s not always a smooth ride, but this beer is!
A Californian Common beer, which is a hybrid beer - made using high quality lager yeast that is fermented at ale temperatures of between 17 and 20 degrees. Due to the yeast, the beer is deliciously smooth; and due to the malts, the beer has great flavour. It captures the best of both worlds.
A copper coloured beer. The hop attack is fast and brash, but quickly fades to let loose a bone-dry juicy malt palate full of fresh grain flavours. The after-taste is wonderfully bready.

Bottle at home (from the brewery - thanks Jim) - 07/10/12.
Pours an obscured light amber with a thin white head that retains fairly well.
Nose is hops, pale malt, citrus, grass and a little pepper.
Tastes of hops, a little honey, pale malt, orange pith, hints of tropical fruit and light pine tones.
Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation leading to a smooth crisp finish.
