Pours a ever so slightly hazy medium golden body with a small, frothy, off-white head consisting of a few, short-lived, big bubbles that leaves a partially covering film. The aroma is moderate and totally dominated by ginger. In the back I get some light hoppy notes, first of all lemon. The taste is light sweet with a moderate to light bitter finish that also has a very light ginger burn. However, this ale is very gently spiced compared to other ginger beers, and the ginger is not overdone at all. Even so I feel that it would have been more exciting if the lemon notes or other hoppy or malty elements had been brought further up in the mix. The mouthfeel is extremely crisp and refreshing, but the body is far too light. The carbonation is soft and the finish is light dry. A simple summer beer that I wouldn’t mind trying again.

500 ml bottle. Deep golden color, off-white head. Ginger aroma. Light, clean flavor with ginger and lemon. Light body, medium carbonation. Maybe not a fantastic beer on its own, but I would love to try it with sushi or thai food!

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy powerfull ginger aroma. Light bitter powerfull ginger flavor. Astringent. Moderate finish. watery palate. I hate ginger beer.

Bottled. Mild ginger nose. Pale fast disappearing head. Golden color. Small particles. Sourish taste with ginger and hops. Bitterness at the end.

0.5 l bottle from local supermarket. Small head, bubbly. Smell has ginger and fruits, similar to Finnish mead. Taste is mainly ginger which is OK for me, but if you don’t like the taste of fresh ginger you shouldn’t try this. It was nice with Asian food.

500 ml bottle. Pale, slightly unclear yellow/golden body with moderate sized off-white head. Aroma is totally dominated by ginger. Flavor is sweet with lots of ginger, not room for much more here. I really like the flavor of ginger, but this is simply to one-dimensional.

Clear golden color, smallish white head. Sweet, ginger, lemon juice, lemonade scent. Sweet, lemon, weak taste. Lemon aftertaste. Rather weak mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Really not my kind of thing this one, not terribly bad in taste as a lemonade, but it is indeed not something I’d like to drink much more of or even consider much of a beer, sort of reminds me of a German Radler.
Goes hazy to cloudy with the last pour with sediment.

Bottle (50 cl), courtesy of gnoff. Clear golden, brief white head. Pungent ginger and lemon aroma, a bit synthetic. Thin and fizzy. Dry with medium bitterness.
