Light brown IPA.Powerful floral, minty and grassy aroma with a straw like colour and long bitter finish. Original IPA (stronger and very hoppy). This beer will easily survive a long journey to India.

Hazy but oh well, we love it down Calderdale way. Sediment, yep. I’m afraid you’re going to have to leave the bottom, which is usually hard for me to take as someone who wants every last drip out of their bottle. One of the more popular LV brews.

Rather malt heavy ipa, more a Hop influenced esb, the sweet malt influence it finally cleared by a hop tang, but then a rather metallic note appears .

Cask (gravity dispense) at the Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire Beer Festival, 25 February 2010. Ginger colour. Not too much aroma other than a modest grapefruity citrus note. Sharp and clean on the palate with a quite fresh feel. More light grapefruit. Not bad but I was hoping for something a little more expressive and exuberant from a 6% IPA. Maybe not in perfect shape.

A medium-bodied IPA with floran notes. Tones of hay, kind of earthen with a little python bite. Bitter finish that sticks on your tongue, has some character!
