Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottle; Unfiltered.
Also sold as Suma Long Wall Mouse.
A bright, yellow beer with a pleasant taste and a smooth finish. Tod’s Blonde is a surprisingly mellow beer that’s lightly fruity and spicy - the ideal alternative for the lager drinker.

Cask @ Beer Exposed, September 2008.
Pours a beautiful, clear golden with a medium, creamy, white head. Aroma has loads of cucumber, some yeast and weak maltiness. Okay, lightly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has again some cucumber, light yeast and cardboard with a very slight malt background. Bad.

Bottle (in NZ), poured quite cloudy (from the travel), a light gold. A somewhat musty malty aroma, with hints of fruity hops. A good bitter palate, orange citrus in the hops with a full earthy malt mouthfeel. Astringency in the tangy fruit finish.

Bottle. Cloudy orange gold with a small head. Aromas are light biscuit malts with citrus. Some floral notes with hints of cream. Flavours are spritzy and yeasty with lightly sour citrus. Some sweet wheat malts with a spicy, dry finish. Not bad.

Had it at GBBF 2008. It says it’s Organic. It was a simple beer anyway. NOt so creamy and not bitter at all.

Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’08. Pale gold, no head. Fruity sour beer bordering on undrinkable. i asked and was told it should be like this. Very poor.
