Cloudy orange amber with white head. Smell is malty and kinda boring. Flavor is light cream soda-esque. Mouthfeel is decent - average carbonation, nice creaminess - pretty good. Flavor is creamy. lb4lb (1340), Austin, Texas, USA Mar 4, 2008 Unlabeled bottle shared at tasting.
Rich orange amber colored pour with an offwhite head. Looks very nice and uncharacteristic for the style. Smell and taste is creamy and malty predominantly and goes down with a very smooth finish. Moderate body and light to medium carbonation help make this beer feel like what I believe it was going for. Very much like an alcoholic milder flavored cream soda. RSRIZZO (987), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 10, 2007 Had this on 10/2/2002. Aroma is a little malty with some hops. Color is a yellow gold. Taste is creamy and malty. Just an ok beer. DocLock (4083), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 20, 2005 Thanks to beerhandy for this. This is a very good cream ale. Pours semi-turbid dark straw with aroma of malt, hops, some florals and fruit. Tastes malty, creamy, fruity, with some finishing black pepper. Very complex, very creamy, and very good. As it warmed, more fruit emerged, and the creaminess was impressive. This one is creamier than the Daisy Duke shorts of a Kentucky cheerleader watching a John Holmes flick.
