3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy brown honey color with a weak head. Awesome piney hops aroma with toasted malt notes. Finishes clean with lingering pleasing bitterness. In short, a solid brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A not-dark amber color, with a fairly lasting head. Aroma had some caramel flavors with a hint of hops. Flavor was the same, well balanced and good, but not unique. A nice beer to have with your meal in Austin.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I had this on draft at Shozols [sic] Garden in Austin, and I thought this was a very nice but not over the top malty lager. It was hot in TX, and this beer was quite refreshing while not insubstantial.
It came in a big 20 oz glass, without a lot of head on it. It was a sparkling amber color. Aroma was a good amount of malt without any cerealness, and with a bit of hop. Flavor was more of the same; a nice amount of malt without any loss of refreshingness. Very good.

on tap at Whisky Cake in Plano; I can’t smell anything in a bar/restr. light color pour; nice mouthfeel/palate for style - kinda sticky; solid brew

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours an amber color with a malt aroma. Taste is clean with no distinct flavor. A simple amber ale that was refreshing but not complex. Enjoyable while sitting at Riverwalk in San Antonio.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pint on tap. Light honey color, good lacing, head bubbles down to a collar. Nice aroma, malty goodness. Taste is very good for the style, light, and drinkable. It probably won’t win many awards, but it’s a consistent, sessionable vienna lager with a lot of character.

Sweet malt on the nose with some citrus possibly? Amber in color with a white top. Light bitterness and a slightly watery yet smooth finish.

I’m really surprised this has such a low rating. I thought it was a fantastic amber. I guess I'll have to try it again to verify my ranking. IMO, another fine brew by Live Oak.
