(Draught) Pours a lightly cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of clove, citrus, and coriander. Spicy yeast flavor with a hint of fruit.

bottle from keg @Joe’s NYC Gathering shared by rciesla/Ryan–pours a big foamy white head with cloudy straw color. Aroma is clove/pepper, banana, wheat. Taste is clove/pepper, banana, wheat, some tart fruit. Much milder/thinner than the aroma although no detractors.

Growler... Cloudy, straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Beefy, fruity aroma with banana and bubble gum esters blended with clove and light smoke phenols. Medium to full-bodied and very creamy with tingly carbonation. Nice, fruity flavor offers banana, clove and gentle smoke. Fairly sweet, but not annoyingly so. Fruity, spicy finish. It’s a style of beer I really don’t like, but this one is pretty darn good. <b>Big-time thanks to GodOfThunder for sharing!</b>

I’m glad to have had the chance to try this one. Cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Bananas, lighter spices, yeast, and bread. I found the banana and spices to be more on the subtle side - which was fine with me.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2005 Rerate on tap at Gingerman on 8/21/05: Cloudy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is nicely yeasty and malty with good black pepper and banana citrus spice. Smooth, tasty, citrusy, malty, yeasty and very nicely balanced. An authentic and very enjoyable hefeweizen.
GABF 2004: Hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Wonderfully authentic sweet malted wheat and bready German yeasty aroma. Body is mildly bready and sweet throughout, but thins toward the finish and has a touch too much citric acidity. Still a very nice German hefeweizen, quite well balanced, and very drinkable.
